We arrived at the dealership at 11:30 and drove our new car off the lot before 3 pm. Joe Helm was our sales person and we were treated very well. All the people we encountered at Puyallup Subaru were friendly and helpful.

Our last five new car purchases were with a competitor down the street. This time the wife really wanted to try a Subaru so my research began. I talked/visited Subaru stores from Olympia to North Seattle, and I hated the way they were like typical car salesmen. I was used to dealing with the same people, so this go around was a little stressful.
When I stopped in to Subaru of Puyallup with my wife, my guard was up. I was waiting for the sales pitch, the hard sell, etc. We test drove the car and left with no real pressure. The next week was spent getting online quotes, looking at pricing plans such as Costco, etc. Kimberlee started emailing me from Subaru of Puyallup to make sure all of my questions were answered. Every question I asked, she answered. Other stores wanted us to come in for negotiations, but not Kimberlee. She kept providing answers with no pressure to rush down to see her. The honest truth is I was pushing my wife towards a different make altogether.
Today we decided to go down to the dealership to look at the Subaru Outback again. Again, I went in expecting the familiar car sales tactics, but they were just not there. I told them I was already pre-approved and didn't need there help. They asked me to give them a try. They saved me over a full percent. They offered up front pricing that I compared with all my research. They won, with no need to negotiate. In the end I found myself apologizing for my demeanor and realizing that they are genuinely good people. Kimberlee, Joe, and Wade were professional and transparent throughout. We LOVE our new Outback and encourage anyone shopping for a new vehicle to see Kimberlee and the wonderful people at the Harnish Auto Group.

I had my first dealership experience at Subaru of Puyallup and it was a really good one. Kirk was my salesman and he was awesome. He answered all of my questions and there were a lot. I didn't feel pressured at any point. Wade was the finance guy and he made an easily intimidating experience feel smooth and easier to swallow. It felt like he went above and beyond to make sure my experience was a pleasurable one. They both even stayed late to make sure I had everything I needed. As stress free as it gets, I highly recommend Subaru of Puyallup!
I purchased a 2017 Forester after driving several other Models. Mac was very helpful, knowledgeable, and patient with my many questions. Technology is changing rapidly and each year there is much to learn about the new cars. Subaru of Puyallup showed that they cared that I received the information needed to successfully use maintain the Forester's features. All paperwork and financing was handled very professionally.

First and foremost, best car buying experience I have ever had. No hard sale on any of the extended service plan or warranty, which was very nice for a change. We showed up on the lot shortly after noon, choose the car, ( which had not even had the initial prep done) and was on our way in about 3 hrs. Half the wait due to waiting to get the car prepped. Also, negotiations on trade in went smooth and was pleased with outcome.
It took awhile to find a salesman but when we did he was helpful, easy going and make us feel comfortable. We came in to trade in our Crosstrek for the Forester. They helped us work with our situation and it took quite some time but in the end we ended up getting exactly what we wanted. Every time I have come to this dealership whether it be for services or the last two vehicles I purchased; the wait is a little long but every one is really nice and takes the time to listen to your needs and accommodate them. Our salesman this time around was Justin Peoples and he was absolutely wonderful. I love my car so much and couldn't be happier and that's exactly what I came for.
I will start off saying it took a while for someone to come help us. At one point there were three salesmen standing not far from us talking to each other (and yes they saw us). My husband and I were the youngest couple on the lot, maybe that's why it took so long? Someone finally asked if we needed help and then got Kirk for us (he had been inside the building). He was friendly, straight to the point, but what we liked best about him and the experience was he was not pushy. Didn't try to upsell us on things we didn't want. Overall a good experience. I give Kirk a 5 but overall experience a 4 since it took a good 15-20 minutes to be helped. I know we are young but you never know who is going to buy a car. I love my new Crosstrek and will recommend this place to my friends and family.
