Very disappointed by the service we had with Subaru of Puyallup. We took our car in for a 12000 mile oil change and to check to see why every now and then we have a rough idle. The service manager (Andrew Morrison) called us to tell us that he couldn't check the rough idle without paying a fee as it is not covered by the warranty. He then assumed/said that it was the gas we used. We put fuel for 2 of our diesel car and truck and unleaded gas in 3 of our automobiles at the same station all the time which is a high fuel turn over Shell station. This is our first Subaru and was extremely happy with it until now. What is the use of a factory car warranty when Subaru Puyallup charges us to look at a problem that we are having? We were thinking about purchasing another Subaru as we are getting rid of our Jetta Sportwagen diesel via a buyback program. Now we totally lost confidence with Subaru as we don't like to be charged with every problem that we encounter.
Our salesman was excellent.he made sure all our questions were answered, explained all the functions of the car and made sure in the test drive we new how to use all the functions. Thank you Carl we love our car.
I was rear-ended and my car totaled on October 1st. I had an awkward experience at another dealer in purchasing a vehicle, and emailed Subaru of Puyallup with my specific model, color & package. Le'Shung responded immediately and told me she found the color and package I desired and could have the car to Puyallup THAT night. I was surprised because it appeared that the color and package I chose was very popular and there wasn't a car available within 200 miles. All the other dealers were looking at 1-2 weeks out. Jerry Harris handled the paperwork and customer service after we arrived on the lot. It was definitely stress-free and hassle free. Jerry was incredibly helpful in getting us through the credit check & paperwork, as well as getting us comfortable in our new Forrester. I am delighted with my new vehicle and the service I received. Me and my husband went to Subaru Puyallup to check on Subaru outback that we are eyeing for to purchase since last year. We do not have any appointment because I guess we are not serious of purchasing one yet. We were greeted by Kimberly and next time we knew we are driving home limited edition outback. We were not stressed out making decision at all and seriously the reason I don't want to go to a dealer is the stress that you experience with the process. In 2015 I was lucky enough to stumble onto the Harnish Subaru Puyallup location. I had my heart set on a BRZ for quite some time and started the process of calling all the dealerships in the area to start the process of getting quotes for the best option out there. I kept driving my older car with tons of miles because I dreaded going to a dealership to purchase a new one. I spent nearly a year deciding which car I wanted to buy. I finally got the nerve and asked one of my co-workers to go with me to look. I was expecting an unpleasant experience and wanted the company of a friend! Before we went to the lot she called ahead and talked to Justin and he was very helpful, I took that as a good sign! My experience was the complete opposite of what I had anticipated. Brian Fuller helped me find the car I wanted with all of the features I wanted, the most difficult part of the process was picking the color. I was not familiar with all of the new technology in the car and Brian was patient and informative with me. I still can't believe the amount of time he spent making sure I knew how to use the features in my new vehicle, he was delightful and had such a great sense of humor. Buying my Subaru was a great experience, no stress for me at all. I could not be happier with the car and will recommend Subaru of Puyallup to all of my co-workers. Had I have known how easy it would be to buy a new car I would have done it years ago. Matt in finance was great also.
