The WRX comes with a 2.0-liter DOHC direct-injected, intercooled, turbocharged aluminum-alloy 16-valve 4-cylinder horizontally opposed Subaru Boxer engine, which gives it 268 horsepower and 258 pound-feet of torque. This engine can be paired with either fully-synchronized close-ratio 6-speed manual transmission with incline start assist or Sport Lineartronic transmission with paddle shifters and 6- and 8-speed manual modes. Performance driving features include high-performance suspension, symmetrical all-wheel drive, and 14.5:1 steering ratio.
